Get To Know Me
Hello!
My name is Carol. I've been an instructor since 2015. I had always wanted to be a fitness instructor since I was 16. I lead my class in aerobics and even earned an award for my efforts in high school. But after high school my goals were put on hold for a few years. During those years I had 3 kids and had not only adopted 3 more but 106 lbs give or take, and a low self esteem.

I decided I needed to fix the lbs and esteem issues. So, I started going to a gym and found myself drawn to the dance classes. I liked it so much, I took at least four or five dance classes a week.

Zumba was my favorite. My Zumba instructors could tell I loved it and suggested I become an instructor myself. I thought that was a great idea. I'd always wanted to be an instructor and I enjoyed dance so much. So, that is what I did.

I began working for the gym I was a member of for the next four years. I choreographed music I liked and taught these along with Zumba choreographed music. Designing the class to hit all areas of the body and be fun too. I loved it.
It was my nitch. I gained my self worth. I fell in love with who I was, where I was, All 250lbs of me. I then started losing the weight. I was now getting healthier and doing something I loved. I found that I was a better mom to my six kiddos too.
Then suddenly the gym closed their classes and suddenly I was an instructor without a class to instruct. I missed teaching, I missed the people and I missed the camaraderie and the support my class had one to another.
I was determined to have that back.
That is why I'm so very excited to be starting my own class which is called Zcardifit. It's an exercise program that will not only help you to meet your health and physical goals, but give you a confidence boost, lots of laughs, friendship and support. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I'M HERE FOR YOU
This was me four years ago. I made a commitment when I began my journey to become the best "Me" I could be. I had to decided what I wanted. I wanted to be healthy and lose the weight. In order to do that I had to make some changes. One of those changes was diet and the other was exercise. So I changed the way I ate and began working my butt off, 'literally'. Zumba is where I began 4 to 5 days a week. Another important necessity in order to stay on track, was good friends. People who would stand by me and cheer me on and lift me up when I was feeling defeated. In my classes I can be that for you. I will be your cheer leader during those great times and encourage you during those hard times when you don't feel like working it out. So you can also reach your goals to be the best "You" you can be.
